10 minutes from installing to translating your project

Install the MyText.ai agent extension or plugin.

Install the MyText AI agent

  • Open your preferred IDE.
  • Go to the Extensions Marketplace.
  • Type "mytext.ai" in the search bar.
  • Click the install button.

    • We're showing VS Code here, but the process is similar for all other IDEs.

    Create a free MyText account

  • Your free MyText account allows you to use our AI agent, even with the Free plan.

  • You can also invite other team members to collaborate.
    • Install the MyText.ai agent extension or plugin.

    Automatic setup

  • The AI agent will detect the type of project you're working on: Is it a game, website, app, or something else? Is it using Unity, Unreal, React, Flutter, or another framework?

  • The AI agent will then detect the translation package or technology you're already using in your software.

  • If you're not using any translation technology yet, you can choose one from the list, and it will be installed and set up for you.
    • Install the MyText.ai agent extension or plugin.

    Choose target languages

  • Click "Select Languages" to choose the default language and the target languages you want to translate into.

  • Choose as many languages, dialects, and variants as you want!
    • Install the MyText.ai agent extension or plugin.

    Detect texts to translate

  • The AI agent will detect all the texts in your project that need translation.

  • It will differentiate between texts that need to be translated and those that shouldn't be.

  • If desired, you can adjust the selection of texts to be translated.

  • The extension also allows you to easily navigate between files containing texts that need translation.
    • Install the MyText.ai agent extension or plugin.

    Translate everything

  • Click "Translate All" to translate everything in one go.

  • You can view all translations directly in the IDE, and modify any of them manually if desired.

  • Translations can also be viewed and edited in the dashboard at mytext.ai.

    • You can now run your project and test it!
